Les File Drywall, Inc. was founded in 1955 and has successfully completed thousand of projects.   We specialize in commercial metal stud framing, drywall and drywall finishes.  With our history and experience we have become one of the largest and most respected framing and drywall contractors in the State of New Mexico. The basis of our success is technical expertise, creativity and ability to bid and perform on any size of project. Our estimators often work with project design teams from concept to design with quality reviews and budget analysis. We are able to provide value engineering, target scheduling withmanpower tracking, material cost analysis and utilization of our large inventory of equipment to assist our customers with pre-construction services and project delivery . We take great pride in our skilled workers because they consistently provide high quality expert craftsmanship.  Our General Superintendents and Foremen ensure the delivery of a quality project by identifying possible conflicts in drawings, managing proper material usage, addressing and coordinating concerns while performing layout.  They can then work with other trades and schedule manpower accordingly. We hold our staff of framers, drywall installers and finishers to the highest standards. Our customers can always expect quality structural and light gauge steel stud framing, finish designation levels as described by the Gypsum Association  (0-5) and the steps required to achieve each level, by hand.

File L&P was founded in 1955 and has applied millions of square feet of exterior finishes.  The benefits of mastering the trade has provided our customers with exterior finish systems that are economical, versatile, water resistant, low maintenance, fire resistant, breathable and flexible for our climate.  This has been accomplished through manpower consistency over the past 59 years. With 34 years of experience our General Superintendent, Doug Winter,  has become the local industry expert in Stucco and E.I.F.S.  With his experience and the longevity of our lead field personnel, File L&P has obtained the essential knowledge and techniques that provide a quality system.  We are able to offer expert technical advise to owners and architects based on accepted standards and best known industry practices. We participate early in project design for new and existing buildings to provide realistic scheduling input that effects the overall budget and completion of projects. File L&P is equipped to perform on any size of building.  Our volume of equipment allows us to perform on multiple projects simultaneously.  We are accustomed to consulting on and completing retrofit projects while busy buildings are occupied and providing  safe access to the public during construction.  We will coordinate with other trades involved with the system retrofit design and make recommendation for the implementation as it effects the building envelope. With thousands of square feet of scaffolding and exterior access equipment including the only Mast Climber in the state of NM we have been able to  win work on some of the tallest buildings throughout the state and assist other trades with access  while performing our own scope of work. After performing several concrete polishing projects on File owned properties a few years ago, File L&P expanded into the open project market.  We have since trained and certified dedicated crews who specialize in Polished Concrete, Bonded Abrasive Polished, Burnished Polished, and Surface Coated Concrete floors.
